Athletics: Golf

Rose Hill Plantation’s Country Club side has three nine-hole golf courses: the East, the West, and the South. The courses were built in 1982 and designed by Gene Hamm. Unfortunately, this past year has been a rough one for Rose Hill Plantation golf, as the golf club’s newest owners filed for bankruptcy and the future of the fairway is undetermined. The course has been closed since January of 2006.

The Equestrian Center

Rose Hill’s equestrian center is one of the best in the area, and organizes polo matches and horseback expos. The equestrian center hosts the Savannah/Hilton Head Equestrian Exposition in the spring.
